The Cystic Fibrosis Association are delighted to be named as the Official Charity for Ironman 2009. Once again, the Breath4CF team will be working with athletes from all over the globe and a committed family of sponsors, to raise money to keep Kiwi kids with Cystic Fibrosis fit and well through exercise.

Our fundraising efforts will be up and running early this year, due to the large number of athletes who have already indicated that they will be coming to Taupo in 2009 and that they want to start raising money NOW!

Once again, we will be running the Creation Station for the supporters of competitors and we hope to see you all in early March 2009 at our marquee.

If you are considering entering Ironman 2009, please join us in our campaign by registering on this website. We have all sorts of fabulous hints and tools to make your fundraising a whole lot easier. We'll buddy you up with a young person with CF so you can start to email, talk and share what its like to live with CF. Many athletes from all over the world have gained a lot of strength when they meet their buddies in Taupo and have them to welcome them home as they hear those magic words "You ARE an Ironman!"
